Chasing their dream, Bandipora IDPS girl footballers make it to Emirates Stadium London

Bandipora, Feb 03: It was a dream come true moment for the girl footballers of International Delhi Public School Bandipora, who made it to the Emirates stadium in London after putting in a lot of hard work, devotion, and consistency.
 
Recently, the girls team had won a match in Delhi by beating the NanitalUttrakhand team to get their way clear for  performing at the Emirates Stadium London. 
Laika Mushtaq, captain of the IDPS football group told Rising Kashmir that their morale was high from the beginning. "We managed to overcome many powerful teams at UT level and we were certain that we would make it to London", she said.
Chairman of IDPS Fayaz Ahmad told Rising Kashmir that that girls demonstrated their strength and made him, as well as the entire Bandipora, exceedingly proud. 
 
Football coach of the IDPS team, Shazam Mukhtar Turk while speaking to Rising Kashmir said that he had faith that the girls would not disappoint. "They practiced relentlessly in spite of the freezing temperatures and conquered their obstacles to advance to Emirates Stadium", he said. 
 
 The young ladies will soon compete with international teams at Emirates Stadium in London by June 2023, in addition to being coached by Arsenal Football Club players.
 
 
 
Pertinent to mention, Extramarks, a London-based top international provider of digital educational solutions, is conductin the Championship in collaboration with Arsenal Football Club.  
 
The firm aims at encouraging students, youth  from all over India for the outstanding possibility of featuring in a major sporting event. 
 
The tournament was open to U-15 boys and girls, and games were held across 20+ Indian cities in two stimulating stages. The finalists will now be  take part in the final match at Emirates Stadium in London.
 
It was a one of a kind inter-school tournament, held in more than 20 cities to incorporate sports as a key element of comprehensive education.
 
 Four teams earned the right to compete at the renowned Emirates Stadium, London, Arsenal FC's home turf, including a team of boys from Sopore and girls from Bandipora.
 
This high-volume event was organized following its association with the English Premier League club Arsenal FC earlier this year as the official learning collaborator, thereby augmenting the company's venture in sports.
