ADDC B’la Chairs Meet; Took Holistic Reviews of RDD Works, other Sponsored Schemes

Baramullah, Oct 26: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf on Wednesday chaired a meeting with the functionaries of Rural Development Department Baramulla to take a holistic review about the physical and financial progress of works under different schemes and sponsored programmes.
On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Development Baramulla Yar Ali Khan briefed the chair about the current pace and position of works taken under 14th FCA, MGNREGA, ADP among others. He also informed the meeting about the status of different sponsored schemes which includes SBM (G), PMAYG among others.
After taking a comprehensive review, ADDC directed the concerned functionaries to work with added zeal and synergy so that all the ongoing works are completed well within the fixed timeline. He further emphasized to achieve saturation in all the designated indicators and exhorted to work in coordination and cohesion. 
The ADDC also directed to conduct routine field inspection so that constant surveillance is maintained adding that quality of work shall never be compromised.
Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Baramulla, Gulzar Ahmad Khan appraised the meeting about the current status with regard to the implementation of SBM-G in the district wherein he gave a brief sketch about the construction of IHHL units and Community Sanitary Complex (CSC) under the said scheme.
Meanwhile, Executive Engineer Rural Engineering Wing Baramulla, Gh Hassan Najar informed the meeting about the current status and progress of estimation of works and other related aspects.
Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Gulzaar Ahmed Khan, Block Development Officers, Assistant Engineers, other technical staff participated in the meeting.
