3 shops, computer institute gutted in Tangmarg blaze

Baramulla, Dec 29: At least three shops and a computer institute were gutted while a fire-fighter was injured in a massive fire incident that occurred in Kunzer Tangmarg area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday morning. 
An official said that a fire-fighter also received minor head injuries while extinguishing the fire. 
He said that fire broke out in a shopping complex housing a restaurant, bakery and a few shops besides a computer institute. 
Deputy Director Fire and Emergency Services Department Abdul Khaliq told Rising Kashmir that three shops and a computer institute were gutted, while a fire-fighter was also injured. 
"One fire fighter Khursheed Ahmad Bhat received head and shoulder injury while dousing the flames. He was shifted to Bemina hospital and is out of danger," he added.
The officer said the cause of fire was being ascertained, while police have taken cognizance of the matter.
