Women need to follow a strict healthy diet for avoiding any serious health issues. Adding different vegetables, fruits and processed foods to their diet may help. They should try having whole grains and foods containing high fibre. To avoid osteoporosis, it's advisable to add low-fat dry products with advancing age. Try to eat healthy snacks like carrots, cucumbers and low-fat yoghurt.
Light to moderate exercising at least 30 minutes a day is sufficient to keep you running. Do exercises like walking, jogging, jumping for maintaining a healthy weight and will make your bones and muscles stronger. Try to avoid stress by engaging yourself in exercise and meditation. Women have a high risk of getting diseases like breast and cervical cancers so they much go for yearly screening for such disease and consult specialist doctors and order tests like mammography and pap smears respectively. The risks for diseases like stroke, depression and urinary tract infections have been reported more among women so they need to be vigilant for such risks and take appropriate measures to avoid factors leading to serious illnesses. It's always advisable to seek medical attention immediately if women get any kind of health risks. After all, we must remember, "prevention is better than cure".
