Srinagar, Oct 29: A youth was stabbed by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend at the SP College ground in Srinagar on Tuesday, sustaining injuries to his abdomen and head, police said.

According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, Srinagar Police received information that a stabbing incident had taken place at the SP College grounds, and the victim was taken to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

Police stated that, upon receiving the information, a team immediately went to SMHS Hospital Srinagar. The victim, identified as Momin Ahmad Dar, son of Riyaz Ahmad Dar, a resident of Anantnag currently living in Basant Bagh, Haba Kadal, reported that he was stabbed by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, Arslan Aijaz, son of Aijaz Ahmed, a resident of Barbarshah and a Swiggy delivery boy.

The motive is reportedly related to an estranged relationship. Dar sustained stab wounds to his left abdomen and head and is currently in stable condition, police said.
