A youth was killed in a road accident at Peerbagh area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.
An official from the Police Post Humhama told the Rising Kashmir that a youth from the downtown area, who was driving his scooty and was coming from Peerbagh towards Humhama met with an accident with other bike, which resulted he got injured.
“He was immediately shifted to Bones and Joint Hospital Barzulla Srinagar for the treatment purposes, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, the official said.
He identified the deceased youth as Sahib Mukhtar Bhat, Son of Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat, resident of Hawal Srinagar.
“A case under the relevant sections of the laws has also been registered in this regard,” official informed.
