Srinagar, June 21: The Directorate of Tourism, Kashmir, has created waves of joy and positivity as they celebrated the International Day of Yoga with extraordinary zeal and fervor on Tuesday.

 

The picturesque and offbeat locations chosen across the valley served as the perfect setting for this grand celebration. On this International Yoga day Naranag in Ganderbal, Nagdandi Ashram in Anantnag, Teetwal LOC in Kupwara, and Aharbal in Kulgam came alive with the spirit of yoga.

 

The Director tourism said, “This vibrant event aimed not only to commemorate the International Day of Yoga but also to promote wellness tourism in the breathtaking valley of Kashmir.”

 

The serene landscapes provided a stunning backdrop, captivating both participants and onlookers alike. By showcasing these lesser-known destinations, the Directorate of Tourism aimed to unveil the hidden gems of Jammu and Kashmir, encouraging travelers to venture off the beaten path.
