Langate, Sept 22: Jammu and Kashmir Workers’ Party Chief, Mir Junaid, held a rally on Sunday in the Langate constituency of North Kashmir, visiting different areas while seeking votes from the people.
Junaid addressed gatherings at several locations, where he strongly criticized the sitting MP, Engineer Rashid, and vowed to bring an end to the fear and control Rashid had allegedly imposed on the area over the years.
Junaid stated that his mission is to end dynasty politics in Langate. “This time, I have come to end the fear that Engineer Rashid has created in the past,” Junaid said while addressing the crowds. He accused Rashid of deceiving the people by falsely claiming to oppose dynasty politics. “Rashid is fooling the people by saying he is against dynasty politics, but the people must answer him with their votes on October 1,” he said.
If elected, Junaid promised to modernize Langate and tackle various issues. He pledged to work towards generating employment, providing better healthcare, and improving the quality of education.
Junaid also accused Rashid of failing to solve basic problems, such as the shortage of drinking water in Langate. “If he can’t even provide clean drinking water, what can the people expect from him?” Junaid questioned.
The rally started from Langate and passed through Haril, Mawar, Magam, and other areas of the constituency. Junaid has been consistently attacking Rashid, accusing him of promoting dynasty rule. He has also alleged that Rashid is an agent of the BJP, working to divide the votes of Kashmiris.
During his roadshow, Junaid urged the people to vote for him, promising to fight for their rights and bring positive change to Langate. “Give me a chance, and I will fight for your rights,” Junaid told the people, asking for their support in the upcoming election.
