Jammu, Oct 26: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Anand Jain reiterated the commitment of the police force to work closely with Army and other security agencies to maintain peace and security.
The police spokesman said that ADGP Jain attended the closing ceremony of the one-month-long joint training of the Army’s 1 Para Special Forces, SF, and 13 personnel from the JKP’s Special Operation Group (SOG) which concluded here on Saturday at the Sunjuwan military base camp in Jammu.
The joint training to enhance operational capabilities of the security forces involved Army’s 1 Para Special Forces, Security Forces and 13 personnel from JKP’s Special Operation Group (SOG).
The spokesman said that joint training was aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of the forces and fostering greater synergy between them.
The spokesman said that the exercise will significantly contribute to the overall security in Jammu and Kashmir and counter terrorism to demolish its ecosystem.
The ADGP interacted with the commandos and appreciated them for their dedication and professional approach during the training programme.
Jain emphasised the importance of such joint training and the range of tactical and operational skills acquired in maintaining law and order and ensuring security.
The ADGP expressed confidence that the training will significantly enhance the capabilities of both forces and contribute to the overall security of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ADGP reiterated the commitment of the JKP to work closely with the Army and other security agencies to maintain peace and security and uproot terrorism.
