Udhampur, Sept 18: Ranbir Singh Pathania, Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson and candidate for Udhampur East, on Wednesday urged residents to vote for the BJP to ensure national progress in key areas such as nationalism, employment, development and transparency.
In a series of public meetings across various villages, Pathania said the BJP has a vision for a strong and prosperous India. He said the party is committed to these objectives and called on the people to make their votes count by supporting the BJP.
“In this crucial election, voting for the BJP means voting for nationalism, jobs, development and an end to corruption and nepotism,” he said. “The BJP’s track record speaks for itself. I urge everyone to strengthen Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in realizing these goals.”
The spokesperson said that only the BJP possesses the will and capability to implement necessary reforms and ensure holistic development in rural areas like Udhampur East. He outlined an ambitious vision to transform the constituency into a hub of prosperity and security, focusing on welfare, youth development, tourism and addressing the drug menace.
Pathania expressed commitment to uplifting marginalised communities through targeted welfare programmes, including financial assistance for needy families, improved healthcare services and enhanced educational opportunities. “We strive for an inclusive society where everyone has access to essential amenities,” he affirmed.
Recognising youth as vital for future progress, the BJP spokesperson highlighted the importance of skill development and job creation. He pledged to establish vocational training centres and promote entrepreneurship. “Empowering our youth is essential for the growth of Udhampur East,” he said.
“Our vision is to create a secure and prosperous Udhampur East, where every resident has access to opportunities and lives with dignity,” he stated. He reassured residents that safety and security are top priorities for the BJP, promising to work tirelessly to combat terrorism and hold perpetrators accountable.
Pathania also envisions Udhampur East as a premier tourist destination by capitalising on its rich heritage and natural beauty. He plans to enhance infrastructure and implement tourism-friendly policies to boost the local economy and create jobs. “Tourism can be transformative for our region,” he said, outlining plans to develop tourist infrastructure in areas such as Mansar, Pingla Mata, Chountra Mata and Jansal.
