Jammu, Nov 24: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a program for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat at Channi Himmat, Jammu.
It was attended by BJP State IT Head Advocate Ishant Gupta, along with State IT Executive Member Rajinder Mehta, Ward General Secretary Amit Gandotra, Ashudeep Kohli, Nishant Sharma, and Advocate Arjun Pandoh. The gathering was held at Sham Kapoor’s residence in Channi Himmat.
During the 116th episode of Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi announced the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue to celebrate Swami Vivekananda’s 162nd birth anniversary. The event will be held on January 11-12 at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, to engage youth with no political background in the nation-building process. He emphasizing the importance of technology and digital empowerment. PM Modi also praised the NCC for promoting discipline and leadership.
He encouraged citizens to share inspiring stories of Indian immigrants and their contributions to the world using #IndianDiasporaStories on the NaMo App or MyGov platform. He also highlighted the role of young Indians in aiding senior citizens and combating cybercrime.
Advocate Ishant Gupta described the Viksit Bharat Dialogue as a “game-changer,” offering youth a platform to contribute to nation-building without needing a political background.
He emphasized that the BJP’s digital outreach has revolutionized citizen engagement, making governance more inclusive and accessible. Gupta highlighted the transformative role of technology in youth empowerment and credited the Digital India initiative for connecting people and creating new opportunities. He urged the youth to actively participate in such programs and utilize the opportunities provided by the government.
