Jammu, Jan 27: Provincial President National Conference Rattan Lal Gupta and Additional General Secretary and former minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra on Saturday stressed the need for preserving and promoting the secular ethos, saying unity in diversity is the biggest strength of the nation.
Unfurling the tricolour on the 75th Republic Day at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here, Rattan Lal Gupta greeted the people on this auspicious occasion and exhorted them to maintain harmony and strive for peace and unity.
He expressed hope that the people will work to strengthen the bonds of amity and tranquillity, which he described as the hallmark of Jammu and Kashmir’s glorious pluralistic ethos.
Sadhotra and Gupta hoisted the tricolour flag at Indra Chowk. The function was organized by Chander Mohan Sharma, District President Jammu, Urban. Another impressive function at Vishkarma Chowk, Digana was organized by Ch Aslam Khan Adv where the tricolour flag was hoisted by Rattan Lal Gupta Advocate.
