Srinagar, Sep 15 : Condemning the death of a young Deputy Superintendent of Police who lost his life in an Anantnag encounter which continued for the third consecutive day on Friday, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti said that it was very “misfortunate” that youth were losing their lives in such a manner.
Speaking to media in Srinagar, the People’s Democratic Party Chief said,  “Their world has come crashing down. We have been condemning the loss of innocent lives but it is not going to bring them back to life”.
“It has been not one year to his married life. And he became a victim of the bullets. It is very unfortunate for Jammu and Kashmir that our youth are getting killed in this manner. They get killed in the prime of their youth and are buried in the graveyards”.
