Ganderbal, Feb 22: District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal, organized a Special Lok Adalat today which focused on resolving disputes related to electricity bills and traffic challans, providing a platform for amicable settlement of cases.
The Lok-Adalat was held under the supervision of Abdul Nasir, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal, and Sheikh Babar Hussain, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal.
The Lok Adalat witnessed the active participation from the legal fraternity, officers & and litigants.
The Lok Adalat benches took up 571 cases and successfully settled 528 cases, with a settlement amount of Rs. 30,49,700.
