Ramban, July 27: SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban concluded its “Soft Toys Maker & Seller” training program with a valedictory function on the institute’s campus. The event was graced by District Development Council Member Renuka Katoch as the chief guest.According to a statement issued here, the programme began with a Tilak ceremony and floral welcome. Director S. Harvinder Singh welcomed the Chief Guest and highlighted RSETI’s contribution since its inception in 2012 towards empowering rural youth, especially women, through self-employment training programs.The DDC member congratulated the trainees for successfully completing the course and lauded RSETI’s efforts in promoting skill development and entrepreneurship. She urged the participants to leverage their skills to contribute towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047”.Senior faculty Amrik Singh Raju briefed the chief guest about the training modules, hands-on learning and awareness sessions on government-sponsored schemes like PMEGP, MUDRA, JKREGP and banking procedures.
