Katra, April 06: The School of Architecture and Landscape Design at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) recently hosted a spirited Faculty-Student Interaction Ceremony to welcome the incoming batch of first-year students.
A statement issued here said that the event, coordinated by Vinod Kumar, offered a lively platform for the newcomers to introduce themselves and exhibit their creative flair through various performances in the performing arts. Second-year students—Partha, Mamita, Murchana and Ayushman—took the lead in organising the event, meticulously planning each detail to ensure its success. “Faculty members and senior students of the B.Arch. programme participated warmly, fostering a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. Vice Chancellor Pragati Kumar and Head of School, Abhiney Gupta, lauded the thoughtful organisation and interactive spirit of the programme.
