Jammu, Sept 07: Shiv Sena Hindustan J&K President Pt Rajesh Kesri on Saturday called upon the party leaders and workers to focus on addressing the concerns of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
Kesri, according to a statement, convened a workers’ meeting at Marhol village in Arnia Block to strategise for the forthcoming J&K assembly elections.
During the meeting, he reiterated the party’s commitment to principles of dignity and development and highlighted the importance of prioritising the welfare and progress of the region’s citizens, the statement said.
The Sena leader called for offering voters an informed choice among various policy options and candidates. “The role of media in providing election-related information to voters, political parties and other stakeholders is crucial,” he said.
Party workers were urged to visit homes and engage with the public directly. Senior party leaders, including Balveer Kumar, Balwant Fauji, Rajkumar Baba, Suresh Kumar, Vijay Kumar Luthra, and Mahila Chief Darshana Devi, were also present at the meeting to discuss strategies for addressing the current political climate and strengthening the party’s foothold.
