Srinagar, July 09: Shahi Imam of Punjab, Moulana Mohammad Usman Rehmani Ludhianvi on Tuesday met with Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, president of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian and founder of the Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter.
During their meeting, they discussed contemporary issues and emphasised the importance of unity and brotherhood among the Ummah, the Anjuman said in a statement issued here.
Moulana Ludhianvi commended Aga Syed Hassan for his efforts in providing a platform that fosters understanding and cooperation among different religious communities in the region.
Later, Shahi Imam Punjab visited Howzeh Jamia Babul Ilem Oriental College of Learning in Mirgund, Budgam, where he interacted with students and faculty members. Shahi Imam Punjab was on a visit to Karnah, where he felicitated Hafiz-e-Quran at Darul Uloom Mominaat in Kandi Karnah.
