Several political workers from Lolab, Trehgam join PC

Srinagar, Feb 10: Scores of workers from diverse political backgrounds on Saturday joined the Peoples Conference in a series of joining ceremonies presided over by PC President Sajad Gani Lone, the party said.
The new inductees hailed from the Tekipora-Devar areas in Lolab Constituency and Kralpora in Trehgam Constituency, the PC said in a statement issued here.
Welcoming the new entrants, Sajad Lone expressed satisfaction in witnessing such an outpouring of belief in the party’s vision for grassroots development and empowerment. “It signals that our message of uplifting every individual and community across J&K through providing economic opportunities and political inclusion is striking a chord,” he said.
Lone asserted that the joining of new members signifies the growing acceptability of the party leadership’s relentless efforts to usher in an era of change on the ground. “The political vision of Peoples Conference remains inclusive. We have always believed in the holistic development and welfare of all the regions of J&K,” he said.
Lone called upon the party workers to spare no effort in connecting with the people, adding, “With empowered workers now reaching every village, we will script a new chapter of economic and human development.”
Senior leader and former MLA Bashir Ahmed Dar, DDC Vice Chairman Kupwara and Constituency Incharge Lolab Haji Farooq Ahmad, State Secretary Farooq Chi Chi, Constituency Convener Lolab Tanveer Khan, Constituency Convener Trehgam Aslam Sheikh, DDC member Adv Masrat Farooq, Rayees Gulzar were also present during the joining ceremonies of Lolab and Trehgam.
According to the statement, the newly joined workers expressed their gratitude to the entire party leadership and pledged to work diligently to ensure that the party’s message and agenda for development reaches common people at the grassroots level.
