Ganderbal, July 2: In a spirit of devotion and hospitality, the district administration Ganderbal Wednesday extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the Yatris at the Baltal base camp.As per a statement issued here, the welcome ceremony was graced by the presence of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Syed Fahim Bihaqi, SDM Kangan, along with officers from the Civil and Police Administration and members of the local community. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner extended his best wishes to the pilgrims for a safe and spiritually enriching journey. He assured full support from the administration to ensure a seamless and comfortable pilgrimage experience. To ensure the safety, security, and convenience of the pilgrims, the administration has put in place comprehensive arrangements including medical facilities, sanitation services and round-the-clock security. These measures reflect the commitment of the district authorities to uphold the highest standards of service and care during the Yatra. The pilgrims expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the rousing reception and proactive support extended by both the Civil and Police Administration. The district administration reiterated its resolve to provide all necessary assistance and continue its efforts to make the Yatra smooth, safe, and spiritually fulfilling for all participants.
