Sagar chairs key JKSPDC meeting to accelerate power projects in J&K

Srinagar, Jul 01: National Conference (NC) General Secretary and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Ali Mohammad Sagar, who also serves as Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings, presided over an important JKSPDC meeting at Srinagar’s Assembly Complex on Tuesday.The meeting was attended by MLAs Bashir Veeri, Tanvir Sadiq, Ali Mohammad Dar, Mir Saifullah, Saif U Din Bhat, Showkat Hussain Ganai, Mian Meher Ali, Baldev Raj Sharma, Ranbir Singh Pathania, along with senior officials.The discussion centered on reviewing ongoing power projects, identifying and addressing delays, and improving overall efficiency. Sagar called for timely execution to meet Jammu and Kashmir’s growing energy requirements. He directed officials to resolve existing bottlenecks and ensure transparency in project implementation.The committee’s primary goal is to strengthen the region’s power infrastructure with a focus on accountability and effective management, aiming for sustainable development and reliable electricity supply in J&K.
