Srinagar, Sep 11: Chairman Kashmir Society International Khwaja Farooq Renzushah on Monday recited his Tasawuf Afsana ‘Traish Taie Khoon’ at a function organised here in Harwan.
Addressing a special gathering of Sufi scholars and devotees, Khwaja Renzushah said, “Harwan is a sacred place of Tasawuf where a similar conference was held 200 years ago when Awaliyas of Aastan Marag were aware of the importance of this spiritual area.”
Two books on the Tasawuf ideology of Hazrat Mohiuddin Ibn e Arabi authored by Singh Puri Sahib were released on the occasion. Renzushah recited his mystic Tasawuf Afsana ‘Traish Taie Khoon’ conceived recently at the shrines of ‘Arif Billah’ of Aastan Marag.
In his address, he said, “It is unfortunate that no heed was paid to protect our heritage abodes. There were thousands of rare descriptive tiles on Hari Chandan Buddhist mountain of Zabarwan but these have been smuggled out by taking benefit of the turmoil after 1990 in Kashmir. These tiles described predictive history and in one of the tiles, there was a prediction that a great spiritual personality would rise from Arabia in the 6th century. However, Kashmir lost these precious materials the same way as millions of years ago, fossils of Pampore and precious collections from Sarband were lost.”
Renzushah added, “Again during the last forty years, 72 lakh Tasawuf books were set on fire in Kashmir. Precious heritage was either smuggled or destroyed; therefore, the new generation is not being told about the real history.”
