Bandipora, Jan 04: In response to the weather advisory issued by authorities, the Medical Superintendent District Hospital Bandipora Dr Masarat Iqbal Wani on Saturday directed all doctors and paramedical staff to remain within a 5-kilometer radius of the hospital to ensure operational readiness.
A circular issued by the MS emphasized the importance of maintaining availability to avoid any disruption in healthcare services.
It also stressed that the medical staff must remain stationed within this radius to facilitate immediate response in case of emergencies, especially in light of the potential challenges posed by the current weather conditions.
MS DH Bandipora Dr Masarat rold Rising Kashmir that the directive is in line with the hospital’s guidelines for maintaining smooth operations during any unexpected disruptions.
He said that the hospital administration has emphasized that these measures are necessary to ensure that the healthcare services continue without interruptions and to provide timely care during any emergency situations.
The MS further urged all medical staff to take necessary precautions in light of the adverse weather conditions while ensuring their readiness to respond quickly to any healthcare emergencies.
Dr Wani said that the advisory was issued following instructions from Health Minister Sakeena Itoo, Secretary Health Department Syed Abid Rashid and Director Health Services Kashmir to ensure that no one faces difficulties during adverse weather conditions.
