Udhampur, Oct 19: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Udhampur East, Ranbir Singh Pathania on Saturday inaugurated the construction of the NTPHC Chiryee building. The project, with an investment of Rs 2.34 crores, will feature essential amenities including an immunisation room, examination hall, toilets, wards and doctor rooms.
According to a statement issued by the MLA’s office, the local community warmly welcomed Pathania as he laid the foundation for this crucial healthcare infrastructure.
In his address at the inauguration ceremony, Pathania said, “Quality healthcare is the cherished slogan of Modi Sarkar.” He said the government is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services that encompass primary, secondary and tertiary interventions at affordable costs right at the doorsteps of citizens.
The BJP leader elaborated on the transformative impact of the Aayushman Bharat scheme, saying, “The introduction of Aayushman cards has revolutionized the healthcare landscape in India, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, where access to quality services has been a challenge. Every resident is now entitled to treatment coverage of up to ₹5 lakhs, ensuring that no one is deprived of necessary medical care.”
Reiterating his dedication to improving healthcare standards in Udhampur East, the MLA assured residents that he remains committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare facilities that cater to their needs.
The event was graced by several local leaders including Atul Sharma, Srishta Devi, Pawan Sharma, Subash Sharma (Sarpanches), Chain Singh Dehati, Sanjay Kumar, Nirmala Devi, Karambir Singh, Ravinder, Bhallab, and many others who expressed their support for the initiative.
Pathania concluded by urging the community to take full advantage of these healthcare services and to continue working together for a healthier future.
