Srinagar, Feb 16: Prominent political activists from the Chandigam area of Lolab constituency, representing diverse socio-political backgrounds, joined the Jammu & Kashmir People’s Conference on Friday, the party said.
The event highlighted the growing influence of the party under the visionary leadership of President Sajad Gani Lone, the PC said in a statement issued here.
Extending a warm welcome to new members, PC President emphasized how their trust further galvanizes the party’s commitment to its cause for ushering a new era of progress and growth in J&K.
“We take great pride in the decision of these dynamic individuals to align with us, recognizing our sincere dedication to the welfare and holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir. Our agenda is firmly rooted in public welfare, emphasizing economic empowerment, upliftment of marginalized communities and preservation of our cultural and ecological heritage,” he stated.
Lone underscored his party’s dedication to improving livelihoods through sustainable development initiatives across the region.
“Whether it’s unlocking the tourism potential, enhancing rural incomes through horticultural ventures or implementing public health reforms, PC has a comprehensive roadmap to elevate J&K from stagnation to progress and economic prosperity,” he asserted.
During his address, Sajad Lone urged party members to actively contribute towards advancing the party’s objectives and bolstering grassroots connections while emphasising the importance of diligence within their respective areas.
The joining ceremony also saw the presence of DDC Chairman Irfan Panditpuri, DDC Vice Chairman Haji Farooq Mir, Uri Constituency Incharge Dr Bashir Chalkoo, and Kupwara Constituency Incharge Rustam Ali Khan.
