Jammu, Jan 06:  Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday said the office of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Jammu has become a landmark of failure of Jammu and Kashmir Government while the prolonged protest of Kashmiri Pandits employees is due to collective system failure.
In a statement issued by senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and DDC member TS Tony said employees are always the backbone of society and their proper welfare and professional growth are very important to ensure that the system keeps moving smoothly in the hands of these employees.
Tony said that the Kashmiri Pandit employees as well as reserve category employees posted in Kashmir Valley are on protest for months but the government has not only failed to redress their grievances but the government has not even bothered to listen to their grievances and demands thus depicting the non-serious attitude of the government.
“Employees have been on protest for months and there seems no ray of hope for them as the Government is still to move an inch forward towards listening and redressing the demands and grievances of employees,” said Tony.
He said that employees are left in a state of helplessness and with no other way than to be on the road for dharna and they are at the receiving end.
Castigating the Jammu and Kashmir Government, Tony said that Govt has not only failed to address the issues of employees but of every common citizen of Jammu and Kashmir but it has failed on the security front also.
Aam Aadmi Party leader further termed BJP office of Jammu as a landmark of Govt’s failure and a place where slogans of these employees echo on daily basis showing that Govt has completely failed.
Tony, while reiterating AAP’s commitment to raise the voice of these employees, said that the Government should immediately intervene and redress the grievances so that these employees can get their issues resolved.
