Srinagar, Dec 15: Principal S.P College Srinagar on Friday held an interaction session with students who recently returned from College on Wheels Program. The event was organized in connection with Viksit Bharat@2047.
The students and mentors shared their experience they embarked upon in their quest of realizing the “College on Wheels” project- the dream project of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir especially the Lieutenant Governor for imparting path breaking and non-conventional way of knowledge to the students of Jammu and Kashmir, and in the process, directly empowering hundreds of female students of Jammu and Kashmir.
The students apprised the Principal about the diversity they experienced and said that India is emerging as a powerful nation in terms of Technology and Economy.
It is pertinent to mention here that the students of S.P College were a part of 15 day College on wheels program in which more than 700 female students participated from different states across the country. The experience gained by the students in such tours will go in a long way in grooming our students to play a major role in realizing the true dream of Viksit Bharat@2047.
