The inclement weather and slippery road conditions had caused problems to vehicular traffic as some of them got stranded at different places in District Budgam. Adequate police strength who were already deployed in anticipation swung into action and provided helping hand to people who were in need.
A Police spokesperson said, “Instances also include patients who got stranded being transported to nearby hospitals in police vehicles.Further, police personnel also facilitated snow clearance of roads leading to hospitals.
