In a significant blow to drug traffickers, the Baramulla Police, in collaboration with the Excise Department, launched a comprehensive operation to destroy wild cannabis in the Goshbugh-Lolipora & Goshbugh-Wussan areas of Baramulla.
The joint team, comprising police officials and excise personnel, conducted a thorough search of the area and identified vast tracts of land approx 20 kanals wild cannabis.
The team meticulously destroyed the wild cannabis, ensuring that the drugs do not reach the streets and fuel addiction. This drive is part of the Police’s persistent efforts to curb the menace of drug abuse in the society.
