PM Modi’s mention of snow cricket, winter sports will boost tourism sector in JK: Ashok Koul

Srinagar, Jan 29: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Organization, Ashok Koul on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the winter tourism and snow cricket will boost tourism sector in the Valley.
After chairing office bears meeting in Pulwama, Koul listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 97th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Halqua Puchal Pulwama. It was also listened to by a large number of local residents of the several areas.
He said the mention of snow cricket by the Prime Minister will boost the tourism sector in the region. “Our PM is concerned about the tourism of Kashmir”. He has become the global ambassador of Kashmir tourism in the entire world the way he urged every countryman to visit Kashmir and enjoy winter season.
Koul said PM Modi is also concerned about the Youth of Kashmir and stated that such things will boost winter tourism in Valley. “Now the  LG administration and Sports Council should also come forward to organise more snow cricket tournament in the future and I hope that people from across the country will come to enjoy the movements,” he said.
Earlier Koul chaired an organizational meeting of office bearers in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. He was accompanied by District President Pulwama Lateef Bhat, State spokesperson in-charge Pulwama Altaf Thakur and DDC member Avtar Singh.
In his address, Koul asked the party leaders to lay emphasis on strengthening the party at booth-level with assembly election in J&K slated to be announced any time in near future.
He told the party leaders to contact the ground level workers and the common masses hailing from their booth area to apprise them of the works done by the BJP government. , Both in state and center, and discuss their issues in detail alongside, he said.
Koul urged them to do their task diligently and ensure their work to the full expectations of the organization. He also asked party workers to frequent their visits to every booth in coordination with Mandal President & Shakti Kendra In-charges.
Koul laid special emphasis on the booth sashaktikaran. “Senior party leaders in conjunction with local leaders should contact every prominent person in the booth in order to increase the party’s base and endorsement of its policies and works,” he said.
