Srinagar, July 23: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader and former MLC Khursheed Alam on Tuesday convened a crucial meeting at the party headquarters in Khayar constituency here.
Addressing the gathering, Alam expressed unwavering confidence in the PDP’s readiness to contest the upcoming assembly and ULB elections. He urged the residents of Khanyar constituency to initiate public outreach programs in their respective zones.
Alam said the party is committed to never betray the people, affirming that PDP will steadfastly represent their aspirations. He cautioned against divisive conspiracies, advocating for unity and resilience in response.
Khursheed called upon the workers of Srinagar constituency to prepare for the upcoming Foundation Day on July 27, to be held at Sheri Kashmir Park in Srinagar.
District President Abdul Qayoom Bhat assured Alam of the enthusiastic participation of Srinagar residents, ensuring the success of the Foundation Day celebrations. Among those addressing the gathering were State Secretary Arif Laigroo, Shafi Kundangar, Waseem Mir, Sheikh Sabah, Tafazul Baba, and other prominent party members.
