Anantnag, Dec 27: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday convened a high-level meeting of the office bearers here which was chaired by the party’s Parliamentary Board Chairman Mohd Sartaj Madni. The purpose of the meeting was to outline programs and finalize arrangements for observing the death anniversary of party patron and former Chief Minister, the late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, scheduled for January 07, 2024.
Chairing the meeting, Madni urged party functionaries to work diligently for the upcoming event. He said it is the responsibility of the party cadre to convey the vision and mission of late Mufti Sayeed to the people and make them aware of the government’s efforts in fulfilling that vision.
Observing the anniversary serves as an opportunity to rededicate themselves to the cause championed by late Mufti Sahib who was as a great source of strength for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, he said. The meeting was attended by Vice President Ab Rehman Veeri, Youth President Waheed Ur Rehman, and other leaders of the party.
