Jammu, Oct 17: Apni Party Provincial President Women Wing Jammu, Pavneet Kour has demanded a revamp of developmental activities in Bishnah.
The Apni Party Women Wing had organized a meeting at Bishnah under the leadership of Pavneet Kour to discuss various political and developmental issues, the party said in a statement, adding that during these discussions, the participants expressed their faith in the policy of equitable development that has been adopted by the Apni Party.
In her speech, Pavneet Kour thanked the people for their enthusiasm and faith in the Apni Party leadership and its policies for bringing a positive change in the society that is facing negligence.
“We are committed to work for all the sections of society and end discrimination on the name of the region, religion, caste or creed,” said Pavneet Kour assuring the people that Apni Party will ensure that their issues would be highlighted before the authorities early redressal.
She however criticized the political representatives for ignoring the people with regard to the development and widening gap in the society in the name of caste, creed and religion to gain votes.
“There is no place for divisive politics as the people have understood the importance of a united society that would work responsibly for a sustainable future,” she said.
Pavneet alleged that the basic amenities are missing in Bishnah and the roads that are connecting different villages are still single land and often lead to road mishaps.
She further said that the Apni Party is committed to giving adequate representation to the women in politics so that their issues can be addressed by the women themselves and create a viable situation for their social, political, and economic upliftment.
