Samba, March 08: Sub Office Kathua of Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL) organized a music and dance program at Channi Jassu here on Wednesday in which over 100 artists showcased their talent.
The artists were welcomed by a large number of audiences who repeatedly applauded them for their mesmerizing performances. DDC Samba Keshav Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Subash Bhagat DDC Samba B was the guest of honor.
DDC Samba while sharing his views lauded the efforts made by the JKAACL’s sub-office, Kathu, said the initiatives which JKAACL’s Sub-Office Kathua is taking for the promotion and preservation of the art and culture of the state can never be denied. He appreciated the performances of all the performers who made everyone spellbound with their magical presentation.
“Moreover there is no place on this earth where one can find the diversity of culture which we have in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Everyone should come forward for the preservation of the culture of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and all have to take it as a priority and responsibility to nurture the values of our culture and tradition,” the DC said.
The program was conducted under the direction of Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Bharat Singh JKAS.
