Jammu, May 14: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir will organise a ‘Tiranga Rally’ on Thursday in Jammu to celebrate India’s decisive response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam and to honour the valour of the armed forces for their operations against terror infrastructure.
The ‘Tiranga Rally’ will be held from Indira Chowk tomorrow at 5 pm, J&K BJP President Sat Sharma informed Rising Kashmir.
“All 28 BJP MLAs, civil society members, intellectuals, leaders, workers of various organisations, along with BJP workers and leaders, will participate,” he said.
The rally will commence from Indira Chowk at 5 pm, passing through different areas and markets of Jammu before concluding at Bikram Chowk.
This event is part of the BJP’s nationwide celebration of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ launched by India’s armed forces on the night of May 07, 2025, which targeted terrorist hideouts and infrastructure deep inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The nationwide programme, initiated on Tuesday, will continue until May 23, 2025, with similar rallies and events across the country.
In the coming days, the BJP plans to organise such rallies in all districts of the Union Territory of J&K, with dates to be announced soon.
