Omar Abdullah to chair NC legislature party meeting in Jammu on March 2

Srinagar, Feb 26: National Conference Vice President and Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will chair the party’s Legislature Party Meeting in Jammu on March 2, ahead of the upcoming budget session.
According to an official communiqué from NC MLA and Chief Whip Mubarak Gul, the meeting will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Banquet Hall, Chief Minister’s official residence on Wazarat Road, Jammu.
“All Hon’ble members are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting at the given date, time, and venue,” the communiqué reads.
The meeting is seen as an important gathering where NC legislators are expected to discuss key strategies ahead of the budget session, scheduled to commence on March 3 in Jammu.
A Source Privy to the development told Rising Kashmir that the meeting will focus on financial planning, governance priorities, and other significant legislative matters.
Given the recent political developments in J&K, the discussion is likely to touch upon major policy decisions, government initiatives, and the party’s stance on opposition challenges, he added.
