Jammu, May 24: The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will be hosting Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach programme, at Army Public School, Akhnoor, Jammu, and New Millennium Children School, Dambuchan, Leh, on May 27, 2024.
The programme, according to a press release issued here, aims to educate employers and employees in these areas about social security provisions, grievance filing, fraud prevention, and digital services such as UMANG and Digi Locker.
The event will also cover the rights of employees concerning their employers. The goal is to ensure broad-based participation, awareness, grievance redressal, and information exchange closer to EPFO stakeholders.
Rizwan Uddin, the PF Commissioner, has urged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employee representatives, and industrial chambers to actively participate in the Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program. District Nodal Officers Devendra Singh, AO and Sandeep Kumar, SS, will address the programs in Jammu and Leh, respectively.
The statement said that EPFO Jammu will provide handholding support to stakeholders at the respective venues, addressing their suggestions, inputs, and grievances. Issues faced by organisations in implementing the EPF & MP Act, 1952, will be heard, and necessary actions will be taken.
The programme will cover member enrollment, UAN activation bank and Aadhaar seeding, online claim filing, filing of e-nominations, e-sign and filing ECR, it added.
Any other relevant issues related to EPFO that officers or stakeholders wish to discuss will also be addressed. The programme will highlight the services and benefits of the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the enhanced Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, offering up to Rs 7 lakh.
“EPFO Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh encourage every valuable suggestion during the Nidhi Aapke Nikat programme,” the organisation said.
