Says it equips youth for future challenges
Addresses seminar on National Education Policy 2020 in Ghazipur

 

Ghazipur, Apr23: Underscoring the vision and objectives of NEP 2020, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinhaemphasized the policy’s focus on nurturing students’ creative potential, fostering critical thinking, and promoting problem-solving skills.
delivered a keynote address. The event also saw the felicitation of meritorious students.
Addressing on the theme ‘Contribution of New National Education Policy in Building Developed India’, at a seminar on the ‘National Education Policy 2020′, held at Dalimss Sunbeam School Gandhi Nagar, Ghazipur,Lt Governor Sinhaemphasized the integration of technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, along with the promotion of startup incubation centers to drive transformation in India.
“The aim of the National Education Policy is to cultivate individuals who possess not only knowledge and skills but also develop cognitive capacities and embody eternal Indian knowledge and ideals for societal growth, leading to the development of a prosperous India. The policy will impart scientific knowledge, enhance individuals’ personalities for upskilling and reskilling, and create new opportunities aligned with the needs of industries,” remarked Lt Governor Sinha.
Highlighting the significance of NEP 2020, Lt Governor Sinha noted a societal awakening after centuries, coupled with the introduction of a new education policy rooted in Indian ethos. He stressed the policy’s emphasis on leveraging technology, research, and innovation, alongside experiential and innovative approaches.
“NEP 2020 places emphasis on the true values and teachings of our illustrious heritage and civilization, equipping students with industry 4.0 technology and lifelong learning skills. This ensures that our youth are prepared to confront future challenges and contribute towards transforming India into a knowledge economy,” added Lt Governor Sinha.
Encouraging the youth to play a vital role in the region’s prosperity and development, Lt Governor Sinha motivated them to make significant contributions.
