The Inter-state cultural festival “Balrang” held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, captures the essence of cultural diversity and highlights the significance of cultural exchange and integration. In the recently concluded Balrang-2023, A group of students from J&K UT from Gujjar and Bakerwal Boys Hostel Kupwara representing J&K UT participated in the two days’ National Balrang Festival held at Bhopal on 20 and 21 December 2023.The students were warmly recieved upon arrival and during performance on the stage.
The 19 member group led by Joint Director Central, Mohammad Rouf Rehman under the coordination of District cultural coordinator kupwara Rayees Masroor were highly appreciated for their performance from the Bhopal and MP authorities. It was an amazing experience for the team J&K as the overall ambience in the festival gave a reflection of a Mini India where almost all the states and UTs showcased their respective Art and culture. The Bhopal educational authorities were very cordial and welcoming as they not only provided all the necessary facilities to the various state teams but also ensured a unique sightseeing program for all the visiting teams after the culmination of the event in which the prominent heritage and tourist destinations were shown to the participating students.
