Nari Shakti” plays vital role in India’s socio-economic developmental: Ashok Koul

Srinagar March 08: The women wing of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP)  on Wednesday celebrated International Women’s day  at party headquarters in Srinagar.
General Secretary Ashok Koul was the Chief Guest while UT Secretary Dr. Farida Khan, Mahila Morcha Vice-president Wahida Shah, BJP’s Media in-charge Manzoor Bhat, Syed Showkat Ahmad Gayoor and Salinder Singh office Secretary Kashmir were present on the occasion.
Koul, while highlighting the importance of Nari Shakti, said PM Modi has comprehensively revamped the schemes of the Ministry of Women & Child Development to uplift the socio-economic status of women.
“Accordingly, three Schemes, namely, Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Saksham and Anganwadi the schemes integrated benefits to women empowerment”.
He said PM Modi will keep working on further women’s empowerment.
Koul further stated that Nari Shakti has been identified as the harbinger of the country’s bright future and for women-led development during the Amrit Kaal, the 25-year-long lead up to India@100 the Prime Minister articulated a bold vision that in the coming 25 years, “Nari Shakti” would play a vital role in India’s socio-economic developmental journey.
Culturally and mythologically, women have enjoyed an elevated status in India, “ Koul said .
Wahida shah awarded Sushma Swaraj women awards to all Distt presidents of BJP Mahila Morcha JK UT and among the prominent Social workers’of Kashmir.
