New Delhi, Jan 22: All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) led by its president Ravinder Pandita called on Vivek Tankha Member Parliament in New Delhi.
AIKS thanked him for raising in Rajya Sabha, the bill titled “Kashmiri Pandits (Recourse, Restitution, Rehabilitation And Resettlement) Bill, 2022” and urged him to raise Parliament questions on the same lines in the coming session.
AIKS presented and felicitated Vivek Tankha Kashmiri Origin MP from Madhya Pradesh with a Sharda shawl and portrait.
AIKS president reiterated the demand of KPs for an apex body that was constituted by the government before it was disbanded in 2014.
AIKS also urged for reopening of Sharda Peeth PoK on the lines of Kartarpur. The MP assured the delegation that these will be raised as Parliament questions by him in the forthcoming Parliament session.
AIKS team comprising its General Secy Sunil Koul, Vice Presidents Arun Shalia, Ramesh Kitchlu and Jt. Secy. Ashish Zutshi invited Vivek Tankha for Intl Mother Tongue day festival to be organised in New Delhi 0n 22 February and presented him the latest issue of Naad Magazine, official mouthpiece of AIKS.
