Vijayawada, Dec 16: Riding on a superb century by Mohak Kumar, Delhi scored a huge total of 365 runs in 90 overs at stumps on day-1 of the ongoing Vijay Merchant Trophy match against J&K at DVR Ground, Mulapadu, Vijayawada on Saturday.
Batting first, Delhi batters made merry against the dismal bowling show by J&K bowlers, except Jeevesh Gupta and took the score to 365 runs before the draw of stumps.
Mohak scored 167 runs off 175 balls studded with 20 fours and 7 sixes, while Kairav Singhani and Abhiraj Gagan Singh contributed 46 and 41 runs to the total respectively. Dhanya Nakra (30) and skipper Arnav S Bagga (28) were the other contributors.
For J&K, Jeevesh Gupta took 4 wickets by conceding 131 runs in 39 overs, while Arun Kumar and Saksham Charak claimed one wicket each.
