MLA Tanvir reviews academic progress at Islamia College

Srinagar, June 05: National Conference (NC) Chief Spokesperson and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq on Thursday visited Islamia College of Science and Commerce (ICSC) to review academic and infrastructural activities.
Emphasising the Omar Abdullah-led government’s focus on education, he praised Education Minister Sakina Itoo’s efforts in elevating institutions like ICSC.
Sadiq, according to a party statement issued here, toured various departments, interacted with students from IT, Computer Science, and Chemistry, and planted a sapling in the college’s Botanical Garden. He announced financial support from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for urgent campus development.
The MLA earlier visited Ayesha Ali Academy in Kanipora, Kulgam, lauding its contribution to foundational education. He commended Chairman Feroz Padder and staff for their dedication and extended best wishes to the students.
