Srinagar, Jan 05: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bandipora, Nizamuddin Bhat and People’s Democratic Front (PDF) chairman Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen have extended their heartfelt condolences following the demise of Shamim Akhtar, the sister of Hafiz Ayaz Gani, the Editor-in-Chief of Rising Kashmir. Shamim Akhtar passed away on Friday evening in a hospital in Delhi.
In his statement, Bhat expressed profound sorrow over the untimely death, saying, “Deeply saddened by the untimely death of Shamim Akhtar, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray for eternal peace for the departed soul.” He conveyed his sympathy specifically to Hafiz Ayaz Gani and his family, wishing them strength to bear this loss.
Hakeem Yaseen, in a condolence statement, expressed his sympathies with Hafiz Ayaz Gani’s family. He expressed profound grief over the irreparable loss and prayed for the emotional fortitude of the bereaved family during this trying time. The former minister also wished for the departed soul to find eternal peace.
