Srinagar, Oct 19: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pattan, Javid Reyaz Bedar on Saturday said he is committed to development and a unified approach to address the pressing needs of the constituency.
Presiding over the introductory and review meeting at ITI Pattan on Saturday which was attended by heads of all key departments of the constituency, Bedar said there is a need for coordinated efforts and efficient teamwork among departments to address the key developmental needs.
“We are dedicated to ensuring that Pattan’s growth is prioritised. To achieve this, it is essential that all departments work in harmony, focusing on critical areas such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and employment generation,” he said.
During the meeting, discussions focused on identifying current challenges and streamlining processes to accelerate the ongoing development projects. Special attention was paid to enhancing public services and improving the quality of life for the people of Pattan.
“Our responsibility is to work diligently for the people of Pattan and deliver on our promises. Only through collective efforts can we bring about meaningful change and progress in the constituency,” Bedar said.
MLA Pattan also reviewed ongoing development projects in the constituency, emphasising the importance of timely completion. He directed officials to prioritise improvements in key sectors, including education, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Power Development Department (PDD and Roads & Rural Development (RDD).
Bedar called for a time-bound approach to ensure that development initiatives benefit the people of Pattan without unnecessary delays.
