Mega Pony rally held in Sonamarg meadows under HGTC

Ganderbal, Aug 11:  As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, district administration Ganderbal Monday organised a mega pony rally in the picturesque meadows of Sonamarg, witnessing enthusiastic participation from people of all walks of life.As per a statement issued here, the rally, featuring riders carrying the Tricolour, commenced from the main market of Sonamarg and culminated at Thajwas Glacier, creating a vibrant display of patriotism against the scenic backdrop of Sonamarg. The rally led by SDM Kangan saw active participation from locals, ponywalas, tourists, and adventure enthusiasts, adding to the festive spirit and unity of the occasion. The initiative aimed to spread the message of national pride, communal harmony, and collective responsibility towards upholding the values of the nation. The event concluded amid loud chants of patriotic slogans, leaving the meadows echoing with the spirit of freedom.
