Massive fire broke out at Jamia Masjid Noorul Islam Tral

A fire broke out in the early hours of this morning at Jamia Masjid Noorul Islam Tral, causing significant damage to the top floor and roof of the building.

Chairman Madrasa Taleemul Islam Trust Tral (MTI), Nazir Ah told Rising Kashmir that the fire broke out around 8:15 am and , which has engulfed two floors of the jamia  masjid .

He said that the estimated damage caused by the fire is around 70 lac rupees.

“Fire and emergency service Department , Police officials and entire administration of Tral worked tirelessly to control the fire,” he said

He said that support and cooperation from local administration is highly commendable as officials from police station tral and Tral Administration rushed to the spot upon receiving the news and joined hands with the Fire and Emergency Personnels to bring the fire under control.

He praised the joint efforts of Fire and emergency service Department and the police officials in their quick response to the fire that helped to minimize the damage caused by the fire.

However an Assistant Director F&ES Department Command Pulwama , Shopian Mueen-ul-Islam told Rising Kashmir that that men and machinery are on job to contain the fire.

“ we have already sent an adequate number of our men machinery , who successfully contained the fire and  prevented the extent of damage”, Assistant Director said.

He confirmed that the fire has been successfully extinguished, and the situation is under control.

An official said that the cause of the fire is still unknown, and the authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.

” There are no reports of human loss,” he said.
