Srinagar, Dec 27: In a significant initiative, the College of Teacher Education (CTE) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in Srinagar conducted a thought-provoking program on Wednesday centered around the ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ vision. Dr. B. R. Shah, Principal of CTE Srinagar, led the event, gathering both students and staff who collectively pledged to propel India into a developed and self-reliant nation by the year 2047.
During the event, Dr. Shah underscored the vision set forth by the Government of India, aiming to transform the country into a developed nation by 2047, marking the 100th year of its independence. The comprehensive vision spans diverse facets of development, encompassing economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance.
Dr. Atieq Ul Rehman played a crucial role in coordinating the entire program. He not only facilitated the reading of the pledge but also familiarized the students with various government schemes geared towards realizing the ‘Viksit Bharat’ goal by 2047.
