Leh, July 06:In a significant event highlighting the importance of animal rights, former Union Minister and renowned animal rights activist Ms. Maneka Gandhi visited the District Police Lines in Leh, Ladakh.
Maneka Gandhi, accompanied by her team, delivered a comprehensive presentation on various animal rights laws and the prevention of cruelty to animals, citing numerous case references to emphasize the practical application and enforcement of these laws.
The session was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Leh, Shruti Arora IPS, Additional SP Leh, Rigzen Sangdup JKPS, as well as officers, officials, and staff of the District Police Lines, Choglamsar. The interactive session provided valuable insights and fostered a deeper understanding of the legal frameworks and ethical considerations surrounding animal welfare.
