Kishtwar, Jul 26: Sunil Sharma, Member Legislative Assembly Paddar-Nagseni and Leader of Opposition in J&K Assembly, chaired a meeting here on Saturday alongside MLA Kishtwar Shagun Parihar to review the development works undertaken by the Jal Shakti Department in the district.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma; CPO (Joint Director Planning) Akhil Thakur; Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and other field functionaries.The focus was on the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) schemes, with an emphasis on submitting detailed reports on completed schemes and assessing habitation-wise saturation to ensure 100% functional household tap connections.The chair directed the concerned officers to expedite pending works and submit comprehensive progress reports on time, underscoring the commitment to enhancing water accessibility and management in the district.
